Yes,Kate Moss can afford to say that-she is,after all,blessed with a slim body,isn’t it?
But not everyone of us is Kate Moss!! Thanks to our metabolism,lifestyle and several other reasons not everyone of us is slim and trim.However we need not lose hope.With a few smart dressing tricks you can look slimmer than you actually are.
Let me share with you some of the dressing tricks that will make you look slimmer.
- Wear Black
This has to be my most favorite trick of all the tricks….Black just instantly slims you down,minimizes your problem areas and gives you a sleeker appearance. So now you know why you often spot celebs in black!
- Vertical not Horizontal stripes
If you want to wear stripes always opt for vertical and not horizontal stripes. Horizontal stripes would only make your girth appear larger.
- Dark Solid Colors
Opt for dark solid colors in your tops,kurtis or jeans and make sure your top/kurti ends below your hip so the problem areas are cleverly hidden.
Monochrome outfits are also a great way of giving the illusion of being slimmer than you actually are…and monochrome is totally in style these days..
- Color Blocking
Color block by either wearing similar colors in different hues or two bold colors.
You can even team up pale hues with dark shades.
This is also one of my favorite tips. Wear bold,chunky,unique accessories that stand out and draw the attention away from the rest of your body.
Jackets are a great way of cutting out the flab and also add a touch of sophistication.
